Description
This L293D-based motor shield is designed specifically for ESP-12E ESP8266 development boards. It allows you to directly drive two DC motors or a single stepper motor, making it ideal for makers and students building wireless robotic vehicles and IoT motor projects.
Dual H-bridge motor driving
Powered by the onboard L293D dual high-power H-bridge driver, this shield can independently drive two DC motor channels or one stepper motor channel with up to 1.2A working current per motor.
Flexible power supply options
The board accepts separate motor power (VM) from 4.5V to 36V and control power (VIN) from 4.5V to 9V (10V max). You can also use a single shared 4.5V to 9V power source by shorting the VM and VIN jumper connection.
NodeMCU pin mapping and power controls
The module interfaces directly with ESP-12E Dev Kit control ports using D1 and D3 for Motor A, and D2 and D4 for Motor B. It also features a dedicated ON/OFF power switch and an LED power indicator.
What is included
The package includes one ESP8266 NodeMCU L293D motor driver shield module.
