Description
The DMA860H is a high-performance microstepping motor driver designed for 2-phase and 4-phase hybrid stepping motors. Utilising pure-sinusoidal current control and self-adjustment technology, it provides reduced motor heating, minimal noise, and reliable high-speed performance. It is an ideal drive for makers, robotics enthusiasts, and CNC machine builders requiring precise motion control.
High-performance motor drive
Featuring pure-sinusoidal current control and self-adjusting current parameters, this driver optimises motor efficiency across various speeds. It ensures smooth motion with reduced operating noise and lower heat generation.
Microstepping and control modes
The driver offers 16 selectable decimal and binary resolutions reaching up to 51,200 steps per revolution. It supports both PUL/DIR and CW/CCW control modes with optically isolated, TTL-compatible inputs up to 300 kHz.
Integrated protection features
Equipped with automatic idle-current reduction, the unit preserves energy and manages heat dissipation during pauses in operation. Built-in protection covers over-voltage, short-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit conditions.
Terminal assignments and power
Dedicated screw terminals provide straightforward wiring for power supply connections as well as A+, A-, B+, and B- motor phases. The driver supports high supply voltages up to 80 VAC or +110 VDC with an operating temperature rating of 70 C.
