Controllino Mega Arduino-Compatible Open-Source PLC Controller

The Controllino Mega is an open-source, Arduino-compatible industrial PLC powered by the ATmega2560 microcontroller. It delivers robust automation capabilities with built-in relays, digital outputs, and extensive analogue/digital inputs. Processing and core features

Running at a 16 MHz clock speed on an ATmega2560 microcontroller, the Controllino Mega includes an integrated real-time clock (RTC) for precise timing tasks. It handles an input current of up to 30A to support demanding automation applications.

Input and output capabilities

The board features 21 analogue or digital inputs alongside 16 relay outputs rated for 230V at 6A. It also provides 12 high-side switch digital outputs and 12 half-bridge digital outputs, each rated at 2A at either 12V or 24V.

Connectivity and communication interfaces

Equipped with an Ethernet connector, the module supports network connectivity out of the box. It also includes two serial interfaces, one RS485 interface, one I2C interface, and one SPI interface for versatile peripheral integration.
