Description
The Mega 2560 R3 is an Arduino-compatible microcontroller board powered by the ATmega2560 processor and a CH340G USB interface. Designed with an extensive array of input and output pins, it provides the capacity needed for complex electronics, robotics, and automation projects. Expanded input and output capability
Featuring 54 digital I/O pins and 16 analogue inputs, this board provides ample connections for multiple sensors, displays, and actuators. Among the digital pins, 15 provide dedicated PWM output for precise motor and signal control.
Processing power and memory
Running at a 16 MHz clock speed, the ATmega2560 microcontroller includes 256 KB of flash memory, 8 KB of SRAM, and 4 KB of EEPROM. This large memory capacity easily accommodates extensive code libraries and complex sketches.
Power and USB interface
The board operates at 5 V and supports recommended external power inputs between 7 V and 12 V, with absolute limits of 6 V to 20 V. It utilises the CH340G chip for reliable USB-to-serial communication and programming.
