Both the OD and the length of this coupler have been thoughtfully designed to make using it convenient.The outer diameter is small enough to allow a hex key to pass byin order to access motor mounting screws.The length is short enough to allow you to insert the coupler between the motor's shaft tip and the opposing U-Channel wall This makes it possible to add the coupler to the assembly after the motor has been mounted-or to remove it from the assembly without removing the motor.This coupler employs the Hyper style of clamping to enforce a strong , balanced grip on 8mm REX Shafting and 8mm RoundShafting.
