Timing belts offer smooth and reliable power transfer between timing pulleys. They get used for precision applications such as driving an axis on a 3D printer, but can even be found on the front of a top fuel dragster engine!On the smaller side, these fine-tooth belts are great for high-precision projects such as XY tables, 3D printers and lighter weight chassis. 3mm HTD belt has a thinner back in order to contour around small diameter pulleys and idlers with ease.These 3mm pitch timing belts are constructed of neoprene and have fiberglass cords to nearly eliminate stretching. The finer pitch, when compared to our 5mm HTD belt, means they can contour around a tighter radius and are an excellent choice for smaller builds that require precision.
