The primary use of collars is to restrict axial motion of a shaft mounted in bearings.The 2910 Series Aluminum Clamping Collars provide a non-marring fastening mechanism that creates a super-tight hold on round or d-profile shafting. The compact outer profile minimizes the clearance diameter so other parts can be fastened in close proximity within your chassis.
