These gears provide an extreme reduction in speed with minimal parts required. Worm gear drives nearly lock into place and resist being back-driven which keeps your motor from having to continue applying torque to hold an unbalanced load in place.The 24 tooth brass worm gear is a mate to the stainless worm. The two gears work together to create a 24:1 gear reduction.
