These gears provide an extreme reduction in speed with minimal parts required. Worm gear drives nearly lock into place and resist being back-driven which keeps your motor from having to continue applying torque to hold an unbalanced load in place.This stainless worm is the mating gear to the 24 Tooth Brass Worm Gear. The two gears work together to create a 24:1 ratio gear reduction for low speed, high torque applications.
