Being steel, these pinion gears provide greater overall strength (as compared to brass or aluminum) ,If you’re using a motor with a 6mm D-shaft as an output, or you have built your project using 6mm D-shafts as the axles, these D-bore gears match the shaft profile in order to create a positive drive between the shaft and the gear.This 20 tooth 6mm D-bore pinion gear perfectly matches our 6mm D-shafting to create a positive drive. This particular gear is able to be meshed with a 100 tooth hub gear spaced 48mm away for a 5:1 ratio on channel. If your build provides the freedom to adjust the spacing between your gears, it’s able to mesh to any MOD 0.8 gear that suits your fancy.
