Legal for FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Eligibility is set by each season's game manual — check the current rules before you compete.
The REX profile is a fusion of Round and HEX profiles which combines the best of both worlds. The six outer points of the hex are clipped to a common diameter so you can run the shafting in a round bore bearing. The flat-to-flat shape provides a positive drive when paired with REX profile components.Our 5mm REX Shafting has an 5mm Diameter combined with a 4mm flat to flat. The 5mm diameter pairs well with our 5mm bearings and pillow blocks.
