The clamping mechanism allows for a solid, non-marring connection between parts.These clamping mounts are commonly used to hold a shaft, tube, bearing or motor 24mm off of a surface. The posts of each mount are threaded so they can be fastened to a flat surface from the bottom.Fasten a 37mm diameter gear motor to your robot chassis using this mount. The clamping mount measures 24mm from base to center, providing a plethora of gear ratio options while staying on the 48mm center to center dimension. To adjust the mesh of gears on a motor which has an off-center shaft, simply loosen the pinch bolt and rotate the motor inside the clamp.
