We bring the educators and the kits. The school provides a classroom and a slot in the timetable — what gets approved is a per-learner fee, not a capital purchase.
Coding & Robotics was approved for the Grades R–9 curriculum in 2024 and is being rolled out, but most schools still have no trained teacher for it and no budget line for a class set of kits. We run it on your premises as a structured extramural, and we train your teachers alongside so that the school builds its own capacity rather than depending on us indefinitely.
As of August 2026, learners from 98 different Cape Town schools — 138 of them — have come through our Century City campus. We design and build our own sheenbot∞ and sheenbot pi hardware rather than reselling someone else’s.
The programme is the same everywhere. How it starts depends on what your school already has.
If your school owns LEGO Spike Prime or MINDSTORMS sets that have ended up in a cupboard, our coaches put the hardware you have already paid for back to work as a structured extramural, building towards a FIRST® LEGO® League team. Your staff supervise, as for any extramural; they do not plan or teach the technical content.
FLL registration, official mat and field sets and event transport are not included.
We own, transport and store the kits and learning materials. The SGB approves a per-learner fee funded by participating families — not a capital purchase that has to survive a budget meeting.
We own and supply every kit, so the school carries no equipment cost, no licence fee and no capital outlay. Where families cannot carry the fee, we will help you approach a corporate CSI sponsor to underwrite a whole cohort.
We sit with your teachers and therapists first to agree grouping, pacing and session length, then run one small pilot group before anything is extended. That first working session is free. We have not yet run a programme in an LSEN setting in the Western Cape, and would rather say so than claim otherwise.

Sessions run one to two hours. Days, grades and group sizes are set with you at the site visit, and we can start with one phase and extend once it is running.
One rate for every school, charged per learner per week. What changes between schools is what we bring: where a school already owns robotics hardware we coach on it, and where it does not we supply the kits, the materials and the storage at no extra charge. Billing follows attendance, and every rate is confirmed in a written quotation with VAT shown before anything is signed.
Teacher development workshops give your staff the skills and confidence to assemble and code the hardware and to carry the CAPS content themselves. They are aligned to Grades 4–9, and scoped and quoted separately from the learner programme.

Yes. Our educators are police-cleared and we carry public liability insurance. A B-BBEE affidavit, tax clearance and CSD registration are available on request.
The in-school programme follows the CAPS phases from Grade R to Grade 9. For learners in Grades 10–12, the route we offer is FIRST® Tech Challenge competition robotics.
