The global study gathered survey data from more than 3,000 instructors, students, and institutional leaders across both K–12 school districts and higher education environments.

The widespread adoption figures indicate that AI tools have rapidly moved into mainstream academic use, even as school systems continue to debate policies around appropriate classroom implementation. For school administrators and curriculum planners, the high baseline usage signals that institutional challenges are increasingly shifting from initial access toward structured integration and clear guidelines for AI in learning environments.
