Egyptian ed-tech platform 3C Coding School has closed a US$3 million seed funding round led by MRG Economic Group, with participation from investor Amr Saad and several angel investors. Founded in 2015 by engineers Hossam Hosny and Ahmed Khallaf, the startup delivers coding, technology, and artificial intelligence education targeting children and youth.

The company, which has built a user base of over 120,000 students, offers educational tracks spanning web and mobile app development, data science, AI, machine learning, game development, and cybersecurity. 3C Coding School plans to use the new capital to enter the Saudi Arabian market and accelerate the rollout of a dedicated AI-powered learning platform designed to teach logical reasoning, problem-solving, and computational thinking alongside core technical skills.

The investment reflects growing regional demand for structured, early-stage computing curricula that extend beyond basic syntax into modern domains like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity for school-age learners.
